Problem to load application fron bazaar

Post by alcr001 » Thu Aug 13, 2015 10:39 pm

Hi,

I connect my redpitaya board on my router in DHCP mode and it's ok.
I introduce the IP address given by the DHCP server in the address bar of my browser and I get the icon "Get more applications".
I click on this icon, but the attempt to connect the redpitaya bazaar failed and an error file is accessible by a link on the error page.
This is the error file content :
1970/01/01 00:01:08 [error] 836#0: *6 open() "/opt/www/apps/favicon.ico" failed (2: No such file or directory), client: 192.168.0.100, server: , request: "GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1", host: "192.168.0.101"
1970/01/01 00:01:08 [error] 836#0: *7 open() "/opt/www/apps/favicon.ico" failed (2: No such file or directory), client: 192.168.0.100, server: , request: "GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1", host: "192.168.0.101"
1970/01/01 00:01:12 [error] 836#0: *8 Bazaar protocol error: , client: 192.168.0.100, server: , request: "GET /bazaar HTTP/1.1", host: "192.168.0.101", referrer: "http://192.168.0.101/"

Some one can explain what's happend ?
Best regards and thanks for your help.

We are currently doing some maintenance work on our Bazaar site, so you will have some issues making it work. I will update you all, when it's back up and running.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Luka.

P.S.: You can try our developer guide (the "how to" there explain the basic compile/scp process) and get a copy of our system to your PC, compile and send the app you want to a red pitaya. It's a workaround, it takes some time, but if you are in a rush, it will get the job done...

Unfortunately I do not yet have any information regarding that...

Here, take a look at this. You can download the application you want, unzip it and send it to your redpitaya in the /opt/www/apps/ or /opt/redpitaya/www/apps
directory. The app itself is already compiled, so you don't have to do much. It should then be visible on your application list.

I hope this helps you if only a little.

Luka.

Hi,
Thanks you for your fast answer.
I found a solution to load applications without internet access to the Red Pitaya Bazaar site.
I downloaded "Install Packages" from Red Pitaya site : http://archives.redpitaya.com/devel/ and unziped them on my computeur.
After I copied the unziped directory (directory named with application name) and his content on the SD card in the following folder "/www/apps/", eco-system already installed on the card.
I plugged the SD card on the Red Pitaya board, swtiched on the power supply, and the applications appeared in the browser screen.
Applications are fully working.

Best Regards.
