Hello all!
I have a question regarding extension board connector...
I have to make my own "shield" for RP, that gets plugged the same way as logic analyzer module. I have my RP mounted in ALU enclosure.
I was not able to find the pin header used in logic analyzer extension module.
Can anyone please provide the brand/label/Farnell code for the pin header marked red?
thx.

Re: Red pitaya extension board connector
I'm somehow disappointed as there is no answer from tech support to clearly stated question;
From the documentation (Extension module template) the connector used is:
8526-4500PL
https://www.digikey.be/product-detail/e ... ND/1306250
It is obvious that this connector is too short (10.8mm) if RP is mounted in aluminium enclosure.
I would like to create my own RP extension that needs to go with aluminium enclosure.
Not answering to questions like this, gves bad reputation to the whole concept.
Regarding support on this forum I need to give a big "Thank you" to Pavel Demin. Without his (instant) help I could just throw my RP back in the drawer. For me, he solved basic things to use RP in a real world project but his work goes far beyond that. I'm studying some "examples" line by line.

Hello,
There are a large number of connectors compatible with the RedPitaya connector.
In your case, your connector must have a certain height depending on your integration.
here is an example ESQ-113-33-L-D

Another solution, perhaps more flexible, is to add "spacers" as shown in the picture below.
The spacer reference : CES-113-01-T-D

Re: Red pitaya extension board connector
Thx again, I would do it with the spacers. It seems they are used with logic analyzer pro module as well. But they are tightly attached to the pcb connector.
