Stemlab 125-14 hardware problem??

Post by hvanschaick » Thu Nov 18, 2021 1:17 pm

I have a unit configured with IN1 and IN2 set to HV and probes set to 10x.
Using the Oscilloscope I have connected IN1 to 5V source 1s ON/ 1 Sec OFF and the crocodile connector of this probe to the - of the source. The scope displayes -5.14.

Connecting the same source to IN2 produces a similar signal..

I executed a factory reset on the calibration. But the problem persists.

See attached screen.

I tried auto calibration, but the step where it wants me to connect to a 5V source doesn't work because it doesn't seem detect the 5V. Next to the input field with the reference value, the indicator remains red.

Do I have a hardware problem?

You don't have a hardware problem - you should do the calibration properly. No such thing as auto-calibration.
