On board RP QSPI

Post by estebangc43 » Wed Jan 04, 2023 4:31 pm

I'd like to boot Red-Pitaya (StemLab 125-14) from the embedded QSPI flash memory. Is it possible to do taht with my model of RedPitaya? What is the reference of the chip in the board?

Yes, that is possible (it can be done from all Red Pitayas). If you want, we can modify your board, but you'll need to send it to us.
Otherwise, the QSPI part number is: "S25FL128SAGNFI001".

Thanks for your reply!
My laboratory disposes of all of the machines needed to rework BGA or DIP chips. It should not be neecessary for us to send you back the boards. Could you please give just give me some directions to rework the red pitaya board in order to add the S25FL128SAGNFI001 module?
Thanks!
