I started with this example and could adjust it to my needs.

But all attempts to change the clock speed were ignored.
I found some posts in Github and other forums, but these guys never got an answer.

Thank you for the question.

I would suggest upgrading the OS to the latest Beta (1.04-28) and trying to change the speed.

Please let me know if that works.
