Ram

Hi guys,

The question may be foolish but I couldn't understand how much ram does pitaya have. İn the main page(http://redpitaya.com/) it is written as 512mb(4gb) but in hardware specifications (http://docs-europe.electrocomponents.co ... 2dc396.pdf) as 4gb(512mb). I think it is related with versions but ı couldn't find other specifications' properties.

Can you explain how much it is? (for which version?) (for the product currently sold in rs?) 4gb or 512mb?

It is 512 megabytes (MB) and 4 gigabits (Gb) for all versions.
You need to look closely at the units. Memory chips are commonly designated with their bit capacity (lower case "b"), while system RAM is usually measured in bytes (upper case "B").
It is unfortunate that both are listed in the specs, the bit measure is rarely seen in system specs and easily leads to confusion.
