Schematics between D/A and SMA connector

Post by dvorakvik » Fri Dec 05, 2014 10:35 am

Hi,
please it is possible to publish the schematics between the RP D/A chip and the SMA output connector. I wish to use RedPitaya for electroimpedance microbiology where the existing RP output voltage span is too large. I wish to lower the whole 14 bit output range to the 0.01 maximum to 0.1 Volts.
Regards,
Viktor

Allied Electronics sells it as open source, but doesn't release the schematics. Go figure.

The good news is that the outputs are 50 ohms. All you need to do is add attenuation to reduce the output power. Do you know what your load impedance is?

Hi,

the recommended output 50 ohm resistor IS NOT MOUNTED ON THE RP PCB. Between D/A and the SMA connector is 50 MHz filter.

Viktor
