Hi Pavel,

Your version of the OS worked flawlessly!

The LED on the USB devices turns on and the Red Pitaya SSID is detected.

So your fix is essentially the same as the solution mentioned here?

Cheers!

Great! Thanks for the test!

The Linux version that comes with the Vivado Suite 2015.1 is 3.18. So, I've taken my patch from the rpi-3.18.y branch of the Raspberry Pi repository. Here is the direct link to the patch:

https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/co ... 8222fad01a

As you can see, this version of the patch contains only the first half of the old patch.

The patched version of the rtl8192cu driver that I'm using can be downloaded from the following link:

https://googledrive.com/host/0B-t5klOOy ... 8192cu.tgz

The Red Pitaya developers are aware of this patched version of the rtl8192cu driver. If I'm not mistaken, it'll be included in the next release of the Red Pitaya ecosystem.

Here are the commands that I'm using to build boot.bin, devicetree.dtb and uImage:

Code: Select all

source /opt/Xilinx/Vivado/2015.1/settings64.sh
source /opt/Xilinx/SDK/2015.1/settings64.sh

git clone https://github.com/pavel-demin/red-pitaya-notes
cd red-pitaya-notes

make NAME=red_pitaya_0_92 all
