Sync the RedPitaya with an arbitrary waveform generator

Hi,

I would like to synchronize the signal from the RedPitaya with a signal from an arbitrary waveform generator (33210A). Is this possible and if yes how can I do it?

Hi,
What level of synchronicity are you aiming for ? Start at the same time ? Retain a fixed phase relationship over a longer period ?

The first one is quite easy, you can set the waveform generator to external trigger, so it starts generating when an edge is detected on the external trigger input.

The second would involve slaving the RP's DAC clock to an external clock, and that can only be done with some soldering and fiddling with the fpga code.
