RP Boot problem

Post by jdjager » Fri Jul 03, 2015 7:32 pm

Hi

I need some assistance to get my RP going please. I get the following error during different places in the boot process: No such file or directory
The first one is:
mount: mounting /dev/mmcblk0p1 on /opt failed: No such file or directory

I've tried two USB cards, both prepares according to the instructions.

I've attaced two text files

Hi,
unfortunately, attaching files is broken at the moment. Maybe you could post dropbox links, or something similar ?

What you are describing reminds me of an issue that occurred with older versions of the ecosystem. The sdcard was not recognized quickly enough, and the problem was fixed with a small pause before trying to mount it. I haven't heard of the problem popping up since then.

What version of the ecosystem are you using ?

Thank you for the reply.

I'm currently using ecosystem-0.93-14-f0b30fc, and have tried an earlier one as well. I mailed the links to the two Dropbox files.

Did you get my reply ?

To recap, it looks like linux doesn't recognize the partition on the sdcard.

How, and on what type of system are you preparing the card ?
