Adding DC offset for PID controller

Post by AlexH » Tue Sep 01, 2015 12:56 pm

Hi all,

I'm adding a DC offset feature to the PID controller for the experiment I'm doing. I have edited the index.html, several C controller code, and red_pitaya_pid.v and red_pitaya_pid_block.v code and I have uploaded them in the following link.

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ehll7mkexasu ... SoZHa?dl=0

However, I would expect that as I turn on the PID controller and turn the DC offset up while keeping all other parameters zero, it would output a constant voltage, but it didn't. If someone could take a quick look, and tell me what I did wrong, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Hello,

I am facing a similar problem. Have you fixed this issue an got this working?

So my problem is I have a PID error signal +/- 1 V but my feedback control signal can only be 0 to 1 Volt. So I guess I would want to do the same thing as you.

Best
Stefan
