I want to develop a simple C application project for Linux, using the Xilinx SDK, that I can then run on redpitaya OS. So far I managed to generate a bitstream in vivado, after that I did Export Hardware and launch SDK. Then I create a new application project where I select Linux as the platform and leave Linux system root and Linux toolchain unchecked. When the project is created it doesn't include any libraries, so any includes that I make in C code are unresolved. It is my understanding that Xilinx SDK should automatically add the include directories to the project when it is created. What am I doing wrong? I followed the documentation on how to setup the system as best as I could understand.
Can I add the include directories by hand and if so which ones and where to find them?
OS: Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit inside virtualbox
vivado version: 2017.2
No include directories in Xilinx SDK application project for linux platform
